Dear Parade Participants,
Unfortunately heavy rain is forecasted for Saturday, May 4 and the Planning Committee has made the difficult decision to postpone the parade until September 2024. The exact date of the parade will be shared at a later date, but we hope to align it with the Latin American independence festivities of September.
Hello Mira Vista community,
please join us this Saturday, May 4th starting at 9:00AM to the Cinco De Mayo parade in Richmond. Walk with us in the parade representing Mira Vista. Here is what you need to know.
I am so excited that Mira Vista is going to participate in the Cinco De Mayo parade. This will be our second year being in the parade!

Wear Comfortable Shoes
The parade route is 2 miles from Richmond Civic Center to St. Paul’s Church in San Pablo. Be sure to bring/ wear comfortable shoes!
Starting Point
The parade starting point is at the Civic Center parking lot at 24th Street and Barrett Avenue in Richmond.
You must be at the Civic Center at 9:00 AM
Bring water and sunscreen!
Transportation - The city will have buses to take you back to Civic Center.
