Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day (11/14)

On Tuesday, November 14, 2023 Mira Vista will join nearly 350,000 other students in more than 1400 schools nationwide who will participate in the Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day.  The walk will commemorate the day (63 years ago) that Ruby Bridges integrated William Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans.  She was the first black student to integrate an elementary school in the south.
