Build Your Community

One of Mira Vista’s strengths is undoubtedly its community.  The network of teachers, parents, administrators, students, staff, and community members build a framework that we strive to leverage to support educational experiences and to provide a place of belonging for everyone. While it is not limited to those active in the PTA, our PTA does make it possible to fund programming and events that make that community stronger.

Our community is made up of diverse backgrounds and voices, and we welcome everyone. It can be daunting at first to meet so many new people, and you may worry that we will want you to volunteer for everything. But the PTA is structured so that there are many opportunities for lending a hand on your schedule and using your talents in ways that grow your community.

We get together every 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30pm to catch up and collaborate on how to best serve our community.
