Kindergarten Playdates

Playdates are parent-run and community-organized. They are a great way to get to know your child’s classmates and their parents. Many lifelong friendships—for both parents and children—are formed in kindergarten. As well, they help ease any anxieties your child may have about starting school by getting to know a few friendly faces.

Meeting your fellow parents not only provides additional ways for your child to stay safe but also provides wonderful opportunities for learning among families.

The following playdates have been scheduled for incoming kindergarteners for the 2017–2018 school year:

Parent coordinators will be present and providing some snacks and drinks, but bringing a bagged lunch is recommended.
