Have you checked the garden blog lately? Exciting things are happening as teachers and the garden committee plan for spring.

Save the date: Garden work party, March 11 (weather permitting).

Can you dig it?

Are you handy? Or do you know someone who is? Mira Vista’s gardens could use a helping hand or two before the school year ends. We need some help to:

Dig fence postholes Fix irrigation Repair garden beds Empty out the green bins (which have filled with rain) Spread mulch

Our fantastic gardens need some help. We are seeking parents who are handy with tools and construction or who want to help teachers take their classes out to the gardens. Call for Apples

If you’ve got backyard trees with an overabundance of apples, we could use those apples! Last year the apple press and fresh apple cider were a huge hit at the Fall Festival, and we’d love to bring them out again, but our apple crop is smaller than usual this year. If you can help, please

Volunteers from Wells Fargo joined parents and teachers yesterday to help out with some fall maintenance in the gardens. Everything looks great! Details coming soon from the garden blog.

Garden Work Party with Wells Fargo

On Tuesday, September 29, we will host a garden work party with volunteers from Wells Fargo from 10 am to 1 pm. Stop by if you can, even if it’s only for an hour. Please bring a water bottle, gloves, and a shovel if you have one. No gardening experience necessary!
